Usage tips
Tips for using candles
-
Never leave the candle lit unattended.
-
Keep the candle in a cool, dry place and preferably keep out of direct sunlight.
-
Keep it away from children and animals.
-
Never light a candle on or near flammable materials or burnable objects such as curtains.
-
Place the candle on a secure surface.
-
Never touch a lighted candle, especially when the wax is liquid and hot to prevent burns.
-
Keep the candle away from drafts such as fans or air conditioners to prevent an irregular combustion.
Candle care
-
The first time a candle is lit, do not put it out until the top layer is completely liquid and homogeneous. This will prevent the formation of holes and a bad burning.
-
The second time the candle is lit, it is recommended to cut a piece of burnt wick to encourage a cleaner burn and prevent the flame from being too high.
-
Put the candle out carefully, preferably with a candle extinguisher. Never use water to extinguish the flame.
-
Turn off the candle before final consumption.
-
Prevent pieces of wick or other items from falling into the wax as they could contaminate it.
